DETERMINATION OF OPINIONS OF PEOPLE ABOUT PARKS IN TEKIRDAĞ
The aim of this research is determination of the opinions of the people lived in Tekirdag about urban public parks in the city center. For this aim, the surveys in the form of face to face interviews were conducted with randomly selected 150 people. According to the results of these surveys, the majority of the urban population (73%) stated that they go to recreational areas. While the 33% of the participants pointed out as adequate the usages in the parks, 29% of them pointed out as partially insufficient and the others (38%) expressed as insufficient. Insufficient usages in the parks are sitting areas, walking paths, sports fields, service areas (café, catering etc.), and service areas (parking, toilet, etc.).

TEKİRDAĞ KENT HALKININ PARKLAR HAKKINDAKİ GÖRÜŞLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ
Bu araştırma, Tekirdağ kent halkının kent merkezinde bulunan parklar hakkındaki görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla tesadüfen seçilen 150 kişi ile karşılıklı görüşme şeklinde birebir anket yapılmıştır. Yapılan anket çalışmasına göre kent halkının büyük bir kısmı (%73) rekreasyonel alanlara gittiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcıların %33’ü parklardaki kullanımları yeterli bulurken, %29’u kısmen yetersiz, %38’si ise yetersiz bulmuşlardır. Yetersiz bulunan kullanımlar sırası ile oturma alanları, yürüyüş yolları, spor alanları, hizmet alanları (yiyecek içecek vb.) ve servis alanlarıdır (otopark, wc vb.).
